Develop and deliver a plan of care by prioritizing, coordinating, and delegating all care touchpoints and team members for your patients.Ā Ā 

Evaluate vital signs according to standards of care andĀ monitorĀ life support measures such as advanced heart and respiratory technology.Ā 

Apply knowledge of complex patient conditions including psycho/social needs.Ā Ā 

Maintain andĀ advocateĀ a safe environment for everyone.Ā Ā 

Monitor and engage with your patients, families, andĀ appropriate careĀ team membersĀ immediatelyĀ concerningĀ significant events, patient condition changes, or patient questions and concerns.Ā 

Prevent and treat wounds.Ā Ā 

Monitor and execute Joint Commission infection control and environment of care requirements.Ā 

Ensure continuity of care, efficient throughput, consistent communications, and an exceptional experience for every patient.Ā 

Collaborate and consult with nursingĀ supervisorĀ and multidisciplinary team members toĀ identifyĀ actions to improve patient care or when unable to complete assignments or perform tasks promptly, effectively, or safely.Ā 

Initiate patient and family education usingĀ appropriate resourcesĀ and continuum of care services.Ā 

Contribute to the team byĀ assisting others without being asked.Ā

The Must-HavesĀ

Minimum:Ā 

Current nursing license in the state of Louisiana and as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.Ā 

Current American Heart Association BLS certification.Ā 

Current PALS certification.
