The Property/Evidence Manager for Tulane Police Department is responsible for daily management, oversight and coordination of all activities associated with the collection, retention and disposition of police property and evidence in accordance with Departmental policy, Orleans Parish Ordinance and Louisiana State law and Federal law. Duties include responsibility for the purchase, receipt and storage of supplies, uniforms, equipment, and property; collecting, processing, controlling, securing and preserving the integrity of lost/abandoned property as well as all seized evidentiary property and materials. The position also provides training to police personnel on property and evidence policies and procedures.
