Your EverydayĀ
Prioritize, coordinate, and delegate all care touchpoints for your patients performing priority technical procedures as assigned.Ā
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensureĀ appropriate directĀ patient care.Ā
Maintain andĀ advocateĀ a safe environment for everyone.Ā Ā
Monitor and engage with your patients, families, andĀ appropriate careĀ team members concerningĀ significant events, patient condition changes, or patient questions and concerns.Ā
Maintain a safe environment for everyone andĀ demonstrateĀ compliance with all state and federal regulatory and accrediting agencies (i.e.Ā patient safety, infection control, HIPAA, etc.) and adhere to LCMC Healthās policies and procedures.Ā
Monitor and execute Joint Commission infection control and environment of care requirements.Ā
Prevent and treat wounds.Ā
Perform proper hand-off whileĀ identifyingĀ and communicating problems to ensure continuity of care, efficient throughput, consistent communications, and an exceptional experience for every patient.Ā
Communicate information, data, significant events to appropriate care team members or supervisors, including current or changes in patient condition/status, laboratory/diagnostic data, intake and output, nutrition needs, patient needs, assessment findings, changes of shift reporting, unit problems, patient/family/physician team member complaints, defective equipment and supply usage.Ā
Keep patients informed and initiate patient and family education usingĀ appropriate resourcesĀ and continuum of care services.Ā
Contribute to the team byĀ assistingāÆothers without being asked.Ā
Seek supervision, consultation, andĀ assistanceĀ when unable to perform tasks effectively, safely, or independently.Ā

Current nursing license to practice in Louisiana and as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.āÆĀ
Current American Heart Association BLS certification.Ā
