About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team in New Paltz, NY!

Position: Customer Service Representative

Location: New Paltz, NY

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Pay: $21.00–$25.00 per hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Coordinate with sales, design, production, accounting and external suppliers to address packaging needs, quotes, and orders
Craft detailed Specs based on feedback from the sales and the customer
Generate accurate quotes for customers, considering package usage & type, dimensions, production method, and time to produce
Deliver formal quotes to customers and sales reps via email
Process customer purchase orders with precision
Maintain customer accounts, including shipping locations and special requirements
Conduct thorough reviews of your work and that of your peers to ensure accuracy

Qualifications

Who we're looking for:

Ideally, you'll have previous experience in business-to-business, customer service, Sales Support or spec building. But if you're a quick learner with a passion for the job, we're eager to hear from you!
Strong organizational skills is a must in this role
Excellent mathematical abilities, including working with fractions and measurements.
Obsessive attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement
Stellar communication skills, integrity, and accountability
Familiarity with resource planning software is a plus
Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Comfortable working with paper filing systems
High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
