                     Quality Assurance Specialist

                                                2nd Shift Monday-Thursday


Report to: Quality Manager 

 

Hours:      


  • Split Shift preferred
  • 4 10-Hour days- Monday through Thursday


DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

 

  • New employee training on quality as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining ISO 9001-2015 quality documentation.
  • Perform internal audits as directed.
  • Assist as necessary maintaining internal corrective actions.
  • Visual inspection of parts on shop floor, every day – molded, trimmed at all levels twice daily. This includes follow up on non-conforming items identified during inspection.
  • Other assigned activities as directed by the Quality Manager 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • A working understanding of the ISO 9001-2015 quality standard.
  • A working understanding of the quality system.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter, ability to work alone or in a team environment with minimal instruction.
  • Strong math and computer skills (Visual, Excel, Power Point and Word).
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings (blueprints).
  • Ability to manage a variety of tasks simultaneously.
