Smoker Craft, Inc currently has an opening for a Bill of Material Writer! This position works from our plant in New Paris, IN. This is NOT a remote position.


Position details are as follows:

  • Creates and maintains bills of material.
  • Interprets and translates source document information to define product configurations and part requirements.
  • Communicates with designers to ensure correct interpretation of design documentation.
  • Supports completion of ECN bill of material and selection updates.
  • Investigates identified implementation issues and processes feedback to update bill of material files.
  • Communicates issue and/or project status updates to stakeholders in various levels of the organization.
  • Completes other assignments as requested by BOM/Selection group supervisor.


Requirements:

  • Multi-tasking
  • High level of initiative and demonstrated use of proactive problem solving
  • Must be able to work with a diverse set of stakeholders and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Strong computer aptitude required; working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, experience with Syteline or other MRP software desired.
  • Previous automotive and/or manufacturing experience/product knowledge a plus.



Schedule: 

-8-hour shift

-Day shift 

-Monday to Friday
