This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader who is committed to providing high-quality early childhood education while building positive relationships with children, families, staff, and the community. As the Center Director, you will oversee the daily operations of the center, including enrollment, staffing, budgeting, licensing compliance, and program quality. QualificationsApplicants must meet the Pennsylvania Childcare Director qualifications under 55 Pa. Code Chapter 3270, including one of the following: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or Human Services plus one (1) year of experience working with children. Bachelor's degree in another field with 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or Human Services, plus two (2) years of experience working with children. Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or Human Services plus three (3) years of experience working with children. Associate's degree in another field with 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or Human Services, plus four (4) years of experience working with children. Additional Qualifications Meet Pennsylvania childcare licensing requirements for Center Directors. Must be at least 18 years of age. Previous leadership or supervisory experience in an early childhood setting strongly preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with staff, families, and community partners. Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and high-quality childcare. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and respond quickly in emergencies involving children. Successful completion of all required background clearances and pre-employment requirements.
