General Laborer

Summary:

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Construction General Laborer and Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to safely operate a truck and trailer (non-CDL) and assist with various tasks on-site, including material handling, site cleanup, and supporting skilled tradespeople as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and transport materials and tools to work areas.
  • Assist in assembling and disassembling structures, scaffolding, and temporary barriers.
  • Perform basic construction tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying heavy objects.
  • Operate hand and power tools under supervision.
  • Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazardous materials.
  • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear.
  • Support carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople with their tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the site supervisor.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Must be able to safely operate a truck and trailer (non‑CDL) and obtain/maintain a valid DOT medical card.
  • Previous experience in construction or manual labor preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
  • Must have reliable transportation to job sites.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
