Location: New Rochelle, NY
Schedule: Full time 35 hours a week | Monday–Thursday 8:30AM – 4:30 PM and alternating Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

We're looking for a Customer Service Specialist - Bilingual to serve as the first point of contact for clients at our busy community counseling center. If you're organized, compassionate, and enjoy providing exceptional customer service, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do
As a Customer Service Specialist, you'll help create a welcoming experience for every client while supporting the day-to-day operations of our office. Responsibilities include:
- Greet and assist clients with professionalism and care.
- Register new clients for services.
- Verify insurance information and collect co-pays.
- Schedule and coordinate client appointments.
- Answer incoming phone calls, direct calls, and take messages.
- Process emails, mail, and faxes.
- Scan, copy, file, and maintain electronic health records.
- Provide administrative support and assist with other duties as needed.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 1 year of experience in a clerical, administrative, front desk, or customer service role.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) is preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- The ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (required).
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
- Must be capable to sit or stand in front of a computer for long-periods of time
- Able to work in open space floor plan
- Must be capable to move throughout work day and follow people served throughout community
- Work alongside co-workers within 3 feet
- Must be able to move in tight spaces
- Occasional lifting of > _25+ pounds
