Must be 18 years or older

Strong possibility this position will lead to full-time employment during the 2027 season

Responsibilities:

Monitor pool and aquatic areas to ensure the safety of all swimmers and guests
Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment
Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including performing water rescues and CPR
Conduct routine safety checks of pool equipment, facilities, and water conditions
Provide excellent customer service and assist members and guests with questions or concerns
Maintain accurate incident and accident reports as required
Participate in regular in-service training and drills to stay sharp on safety protocols

Requirements:

Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (or equivalent)
CPR/AED and First Aid certification required
Strong swimming ability and comfort in aquatic environments
Ability to remain attentive, focused, and calm under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
Previous lifeguarding or aquatics experience preferred but not required
