Position Title: Brake Press Operator

Employment Type: Full-Time


Work Location: Deland, FL (In-Person)


Compensation: $21.00 - 26.00 per hour


Shift Differential: $1.00 Hr


Schedule: 3:00 - 11:30PM (8 hours), M-F

Located in DeLand, Florida, we engineer and manufacture customized generator enclosures, fuel tanks, and trailers, as well as provide a full suite of other related products and services, including bi-fuel systems, Mitsubishi engines and parts, and more. We also integrate and facilitate the testing of all customer-supplied and third-party equipment, which enables us to offer convenient turnkey solution options.


Our engineered products are installed in critical applications throughout the United States and internationally, serving government agencies, the military, police and fire departments, hospitals, assisted living facilities, schools, data centers, etc.


Responsibilities:

  • Reads, interprets and follows work orders, lay-up sheets, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Accesses and uploads programming files via computer.
  • Administers daily job tasks and sets priorities.
  • Carries out methods needed to do the job successfully.
  • Loads material to be cut for specific projects.
  • Manages materials inventory.
  • Inspects finished product for conformance to design specifications.
  • Completes documentation of products, processes, and equipment including work order entries, labels, and material sign sheets.
  • Ensures the quality of our products continually meets or exceeds our customer’s requirements.
  • Enforces 6S, rules and safety practices, and keeps work areas clean and organized.
  • Schedules maintenance and performs monthly maintenance on the Break Press machine.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Behavior: The candidate must work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines. The incumbent shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.



Qualifications and Skills:

  • 1+ year minimum experience in a similar field.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications, and to perform work therefrom or from other written or verbal instruction.
  • May be required to pass employer performance tests or standard tests to meet certification standards.
  • Must pass a drug test.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic reading, math, and writing skills.
  • Attention to detail and highly motivated.
  • Ability to communicate and work well with others.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
  • Ability to work overtime on occasion.
  • Possess appropriate tools to perform job duties.


Physical Requirements:

  • May frequently lift or move heavy-weight material and work in difficult positions.
  • Frequent mental and visual attention on an intermittent basis.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel, lift, push and pull, and work at heights, and in small tight spaces.
  • Requires working under somewhat disagreeable conditions frequently where elements such as dust, dirt, heat, fumes, cold, vibration, noise, water, or chemicals may be present.
