This position's role is to maintain all guestrooms and public areas to the utmost satisfaction of our guests and Exploria Company standards.   Responsibilities and Duties: Provides exceptional service to all guests and potential guests by assisting them in a friendly, efficient, manner. Performs necessary repairs and preventive maintenance tasks in a manner responsive to guest satisfaction and to the preservation of Company assets in a safe, cost-effective manner. Requires knowledge of maintenance skills. Requires ability to handle all aspects of hotel/resort maintenance. Requires general knowledge of building maintenance to include minor electrical repair, appliance repair, and plumbing. Requires self-motivation and organizational skills. Requires the ability to be available for emergency repairs QualificationsQualifications and Skills: Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities, maintenance, or related field is required. Construction experience preferred but not required HVAC knowledge is a plus Must have a valid Driver’s License  Must have reliable transportation Required Competencies: Must be punctual, dependable, and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work under pressure and take initiative in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude and a willingness to learn Communicate effectively in English Physical Demands: Work outdoors for extended periods of time Constant standing with some walking. Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
