4851 - 16744 - Sterilization Process Coordinator 

Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Requires accountability for the confidentiality of all communications, correspondence, and documents.

Acts as a liaison for management to external/internal parties; maintains manager’s schedule if required.

Answers & screens telephone calls; responds to inquiries; routes inquiries to appropriate staff.

Maintains all types of office equipment (computer, fax machine, copier, etc.)

Communicates with other facilities to maintain balanced workflow.

Prepares shipping documentation for overnight, common carrier, and dedicated truck shipments.

Maintains laboratory test records and related documentation; enters requests for testing into tracking system.

Performs test sample receipt and scheduling, to the appropriate department.

Performs routine sterilization batch / load record review.

 

Ability to use ten-key, fax machine, office copier and computer required.  Requires experience in computer software packages (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).  Requires good organizational skills, as well as the ability to work well under limited supervision.  Professional attitude and appearance required.  Requires flexibility, dependability, and the willingness to take direction.  Excellent phone skills a must.  Must have a positive attitude, the ability to be flexible with job duties and hours, skill meeting deadlines and the ability to interact with employees representing all levels of the organization
