Press Operator

Your Responsibilities:

• Operate press and finishing equipment producing paper products according to job specifications

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment

• Perform quality control review of each order

• Prepare orders for delivery or shipping

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Your Shift:

• 6:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday - Thursday with flexibility

You Must Have:

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize, multitask and meet set deadlines

• Basic math skills sufficient to adjust equipment settings according to written instructions

• Basic computer knowledge required

• Ability to read, and interpret general instructions and numerical data.

Requirements Within This Position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.

• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.

• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials.

• Frequently required to move inside the facility.

• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry).

We Would Also Prefer:

• Mechanical or Production experience

• Strong mechanical aptitude.

• Forklift certification

• Ability to work with minimum supervision

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $20 – $22. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
