Job Description

Resorts World is seeking a detail-oriented, creative Copywriter to join our fast-paced marketing team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, juggling multiple projects at once and working closely with creative, print, and digital production teams. You’ll have a hand in everything from concept to deployment, ensuring our messaging is on-point and our brand always shines.

License Level: This is a non-gaming position and requires a non-gaming license. This position has no gaming related responsibilities, no access to secure gaming areas, no access to gaming equipment, and no access to sensitive player information.  Nothing in this job description shall be interpreted to allow this position to make discretionary decisions or long-range policy determinations that impact gaming facility operations.

Essential Duties / Core Competencies

  • Write compelling, brand-aligned copy for hotel, loyalty, and special event direct mail and email campaigns, as well as on-property signage and digital assets. Write copy for other departments as requested.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop, refine, and review creative direction for F&B and entertainment marketing initiatives.
  • Manage copy from end-to-end project workflow from creative requests to artwork, maintaining a sharp eye for brand tone consistency, accuracy, and meeting deadlines.
  • Review and validate print proofs to ensure offer copy and details are accurate before deployment.
  • Work with Project Specialists to communicate project status, timelines, and delivery milestones to internal clients and stakeholders.

Work/Educational Experience

  • Must be 18 years or older and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations.
  • Experience in hospitality, entertainment, or a related industry.
  • Familiarity with direct mail, email marketing, and on-property signage.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals and other related documents.  Ability to respond to common inquiries from other Team Members or guests. Fluency in English required.  Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability:

Ability to compute complex mathematical calculations. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.
