Job Description:

Merkle is seekingĀ a Senior Manager, Adobe CJA Architect to apply theirĀ expertiseĀ in front-end technologies for developing and supporting enterprise-class website analytics implementations. Candidates should have experience in structured environments with defined development methodologies, including client/server and multi-tiered design and development.Ā 

Ā 

As an integralĀ leadĀ of the Analytics team, the Senior Manager, Adobe CJA Architect willĀ utilizeĀ tools like AdobeĀ Tags (formerlyĀ Launch),Ā Google Tag Manager, and Tealium. You will support marketing-driven testing campaigns and provide actionableĀ architecture recommendations. This role requires a strong command of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS to create innovative technical solutions that drive our clients' analyticsĀ insightsĀ and testing strategiesĀ along with leadership and managerial acumen.Ā

ResponsibilitiesĀ 

  • Lead and execute web analytics implementations, especially with AdobeĀ Tags (Launch).Ā 

  • Translate business requirements into scalable, resilient analytics solutions.Ā 

  • Ensure data accuracy, governance, and consistency across platforms and environments.Ā 

  • Diagnose complex implementation and data-qualityĀ issues and proactively develop solutions.Ā 

  • Analyze web data to derive actionable insights,Ā identifyĀ trends, and communicate findings.Ā 

  • Measure results againstĀ objectivesĀ using various analysis tools.Ā 

  • Develop processes for successful experiment development.Ā 

  • OptimizeĀ tagging and data collection processes.Ā 

  • Provide support and troubleshooting for cross-functional business partners.Ā 

  • Deliver insightful data and results to client management teams.Ā 

  • StayĀ currentĀ with industry trendsĀ to evaluateĀ and implement new tools and technologies.Ā

QualificationsĀ 

  • 7+ years of experience in web development and web analyticsĀ 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Analytics, Data Management, or related fieldsĀ 

  • ExpertĀ proficiencyĀ in Adobe Tags (Launch), Adobe Analytics,Ā Web SDK,Ā and Customer Journey Analytics with deep understanding of implementation architecture and measurement frameworksĀ 

  • Advanced front-end development skills including JavaScript, CSS, XHTML, JSĀ Libaries, AJAX, JSON, DOM scripting, XML/XSLT, and W3C DOM methodsĀ 

  • Experience with AEP including Real-Time CDP,Ā WebSDK, Edge Network, and integration with Adobe Target, Analytics, and external destinations to enable personalization at scaleĀ 

  • Proven experience designing and implementing data models in AEP using XDM schemas, field groups, and profile stitching logic to enable robust ETL workflows & segmentation strategiesĀ 

  • ExpertiseĀ in Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and TealiumĀ 

  • Proven experience managing and leading web analytics projects and teamsĀ 

  • Expert problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to understand business problems, develop strategies, and deliver actionable insightsĀ 

  • Thought leader in digital marketing data and processes across various media types (web, ad, email, mobile, etc.)Ā 

  • Expert client/team engagement skills: gathering specifications, developing analyticalĀ roadmaps, managing expectations, and coordinating deliveryĀ 

  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skillsĀ 

  • ProficiencyĀ in MS Office (Word, Teams, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Ā

TheĀ annualĀ salary range for this position is $114,000-$190,000.Ā Placement within the salary rangeĀ is based on a variety of factors,Ā including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factorsĀ permittedĀ by law.Ā Ā
