Job Responsibilities
Position Overview:
The Bartender is responsible for positive guest interactions, as well as the ability to mix and serve beverages to guests in a high-paced environment. At all times, bartenders are expected to pay close attention to our guests needs and make them feel welcome, relaxed and comfortable.Â
License Level: This is a Gaming position. Nothing in this job description shall be interpreted to allow this position to make discretionary decisions or long-range policy determinations that impact gaming facility operations.
Essential Functions:
- Greet guests, take beverage orders directly from guests.
- Checks identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
- Mixes drinks, cocktails, and other bar beverages as ordered.
- Ensures that the assigned bar is neatly kept and fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests.
- Maintains a clean and sanitary environment.
- Restocks and replenishes bar inventory and supplies.
- Complies with all food and beverage regulations.
- Processes guests’ bills, handle money and transactions in a cash register.
- Enforces rules and regulations to limit problems and liability.
- Develops an efficient work pace that keeps the guests at the bar and dining room satisfied at all times.
- Keeps bottles organized, and wash glasses as needed.
- Understands the local identification and drinking age laws in order to prevent problems.
- Manages the intake of each guest to prevent over intoxication and drinking and driving.
Performs other tasks as assigned.

Essential Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge in all applicable rules and regulations
Knowledge/Work Experience: Â
- Must be at least 18 years old and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations.
- High school diploma or G.E.D preferred
- One (1) year experience in customer service and bartending in a high-volume establishment preferred
- ABC license
- Must have a NYS Food Handlers Permit
- Must obtain a Tips Certification.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other Team Members or guests. Fluency in English required. Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability:
Ability to compute mathematical calculations. Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk or hear. The Team Member is also regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. The Team Member is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, stretch, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least fifteen (15) pounds, and prolonged standing during the shift.Â

The noise level in the work environment varies. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud. When on the casino floor or other designated areas may be subjected to tobacco smoke. Must be able to handle intoxicated guests in a professional manner.
Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Team Members must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.

Pay Transparency: $21.56 - $28.75
