About the Opportunity:  Chelsea Piers Golf Club is seeking to hire a part-time Bartender to join our team at The Water Hazard Bar + Lounge, located on Pier 59. The Water Hazard Bar + Lounge offers a variety of signature cocktails, draft beers, and seasonal small plates. You will be expected to work evenings and weekends. You will make tips in addition to your salary.  As the Bartender you will be expected to: Mix drinks, cocktails, and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with company standards following recipes and using jiggers for accurate pours Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests Maintain a clean working area by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of glass doors and windows, etc. as needed Work well as a teammate in a high volume, fast-paced, positive working environment This is not comprehensive list of responsibilities, which can change at any time at the discretion of your supervisor. QualificationsAbout You: You are friendly, professional, and punctual. You have: Two years of bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant A positive attitude and strong work ethic Willingness to take on other tasks Excellent oral communication skills Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds or more Ability to be on your feet for hours at a time Ability to work on weeknights, weekends, and holidays
