Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. The application support candidate will be responsible for contributing to the development and maintenance of our applications, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, performance, and security.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in one or more programming languages such as Python, SQL.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, SQL, Java, C++, C#, .Net
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and best practices.
- Good database experience- ETL, SQL, Maintenance, tuning,
- SQL querying skills and experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL SERVER, Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL).
- Knowledge of windows system maintenance/Virtual machine maintenance
- Fircosoft system, Actimize system experience highly preferred
- Scripting experience in power shell highly preferred
- Any other work assigned by IT Department Management
