About the Role:
Join Toby's Services Ltd as a Water Treatment Helper as a Helper / Driver, where you will support our technicians with daily service, installation, and maintenance work while safely transporting equipment and materials to job sites. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who is dependable, hardworking, and interested in learning about water treatment systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist technicians with the installation, maintenance, and servicing of water treatment equipment.
- Safely drive company vehicles to and from customer locations and job sites.
- Load, unload, and transport equipment, tools, water treatment products, and materials.
- Help prepare job sites and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Assist with basic equipment setup, removal, and replacement under the direction of experienced technicians.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Follow all company safety procedures and instructions while working at customer locations.
- Communicate professionally with customers, technicians, and other team members.
- Perform general warehouse and shop duties as needed.
- Participate in on-the-job training and learn water treatment equipment and installation procedures.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles.
- Ability to lift and move equipment and materials and perform physically demanding work.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors and traveling between job sites.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn water treatment installation and service procedures.
- Basic mechanical or plumbing knowledge is a plus but not required.
- Previous helper, delivery, construction, plumbing, or water treatment experience is preferred but not required.
