The CRA Data Analytics Group Manager is accountable for the management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Leads and directs a team of professionals. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within the CRA Strategy & Enterprise Support mandate and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of operational changes and technical contributions. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Accountable for the end results of Citi’s CRA program performance. Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning for CRA Data Analytics. Involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area. Full management responsibility the CRA Data Analytics team, including management of people, budget and planning, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval. Responsibilities: Accountable for designing and implementing both the tactical and strategic data analytics necessary to support Citi’s overarching CRA strategy and the businesses that contribute to it. Serves as the subject matter expert for strategic CRA data analysis, identifies insights and implications, and makes strategic recommendations. Develops data visualizations that clearly communicate complex analysis. Works closely with CRA contributing lines of business to ensure that they understand CRA requirements, including business-specific targets. Develops and oversees monitoring of CRA performance versus guidelines, and assists CRA-contributing lines of business in developing strategies to address shortfalls while ensuring business accountability for CRA obligations. Participates in strategic business engagements to ensure the correct type and level of data analytics support for key business forums and to support communication with key internal and external stakeholders. Contributes to the preparation and execution of CRA Examination materials and analyses. Liaises with the prudential regulator to finetune analysis methodologies to align with regulator procedures and expectations. Builds a culture of continuous product improvement and innovation based on business needs and prioritizes changes in analytics and supporting data infrastructure accordingly. Plans and manages on-going product investment and activity to support evolving analytics needs in-line with defined CRA priorities, capacity and capability planning and development. Ensures current analytics strategy and supporting architecture is mapped out, and deeply understood, including controls and procedures in place to ensure data quality. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
