We are inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship position in artificial intelligence and machine learning with a specific interest in applications for cardiovascular diagnostics (imaging, ECG). This work will focus on translational research of state-of-the-art AI methods to fetal, pediatric, and adult congenital cardiology populations.

Background: This position will be in the lab of Dr. Son Duong in the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Human Health in the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in Manhattan, New York, NY, USA. Examples of our work can be found here and here.

Key topics of interest include but are not limited to: Harnessing cardiovascular imaging data for development of deep learning AI models for disease outcomes and personalized therapeutic recommendations; Development of multi-modal (e.g., waveform, imaging, and clinical data) deep learning for clinical decision support; Translation of foundational vision language models and agentic AI to the cardiovascular bedside; Implementation and comparative effectiveness of AI in cardiovascular medicine and practice.
