This position requires an RD who is interested in combining their clinical competency with some management responsibilities to ensure that the patient’s nutritional needs are addressed and appropriate sanitation standards and food safety regulations are adhered to. This position does require some traveling from site to site.   Responsibilities for this position will include: Completing timely clinical nutrition assessments and progress notes for the patients living in the Cerebral Palsy homes. Conducting monthly in-services to the cooking staff and helping to prepare the staff for state audits. Weekly meal observations Assist with menu planning as needed. Collect invoices from cook managers, complete biweekly purchase summaries and report on food costs. Bi weekly payroll.QualificationsRegistered Dietitian or Certified Dietitian Nutritionist Experience working within small group homes preferred, but not required Caring Professional Understanding of various modified diets Ability to work with and coach a senior staff
