12 hours shifts, Monday - Sunday, rotating schedule
Shifts: 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. (1900 - 0700) or 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. (0700-1900)
Weekend availability is required

Responsibilities:
Call Management: Handle high-volume intake calls, prioritize, and dispatch using CAD systemsÂ
Resource Coordination:Determine the appropriate level of care and coordinate transport activities with field EMTsÂ
Customer Service: Provide courteous, friendly service to medical facilities, the public, and fellow EMS staffÂ
Trip Assignment: Assign trips to the appropriate resources based on needs and availabilityÂ
Billing Support: Collect patient billing information and assist with pre-billing activities.Â

Requirements:
High School Diploma / GEDÂ
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skillsÂ
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectivelyÂ
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team settingÂ
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2years of transportation dispatch experience (EMS dispatch preferred)Â
Emergency Medical Technician - EMT experience
Strong geographical knowledge of service areasÂ
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situationsÂ
Proficiency in typing (40-45 WPM) and data entry experienceÂ
Familiarity with computer-aided dispatch (CAD) software
