Asset Services - Operations Analyst - NYC

Our client is seeking an Operations Analyst to join their Securities Operations team in Asset Services. The operations analyst will be responsible for ensuring timely processing of all corporate action events from trade date to settlement date.

Description

Daily responsibilities include:

• Servicing event creation in database
• Performs daily processing and reconciliation of Corporate Action events
• Identification, escalation, and resolution of corporate action issues
• Respond to both internal and external inquiries swiftly and efficiently
• Work in a dynamic environment
• Provide feedback on custodian and vendor performance
• Maintains proper daily workflow documentation evidence for regulatory and compliance purposes
• Participate automation of daily processes and process improvement

Profile

he ideal candidate should possess the following:

• 2+ years of experience within Asset Servicing Operations or Corporate Actions
• Be a team player
• Able to work in a fast pace, deadline sensitive environment and possess good communication skills
• A self-starter who is comfortable in a complex role that interfaces regularly with clients, front office, technology, finance, and trade support teams
• knowledge of Microsoft Excel, VLOOKUP, Pivots, and other requirements
• Escalation awareness
• A strong front-to-back ownership mentality
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Excellent analytical/problem solving skills and a sense of urgency regarding responsibilities
• Build strong relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external parties
