Support existing clients and new sales prospects within existing or untapped markets. Gathers market intelligence and develops proposals/campaigns to garner new business, ensuring a consistent flow of new revenues to the company. Uses sector & product knowledge to determine demand, future trends and potential projects.

Responsible to help manage client relationships, including attracting and retaining new clients and strengthening current relationships. Activities include maximizing cross-sales opportunities through customer profiling with the goal of cultivating interest in other Corporate Banking products. Provides support to help clients coordinate solutions, manage accounts, obtain advice and administer services. Ensures customer questions and issues are answered correctly and efficiently by documenting and identifying trends in customer service needs. Resolves and oversees resolution of customer issues.  Creates presentations to potential clients.


Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Provides support to senior bankers and serves as a secondary contact for clients.
Client presentation preparation, including all background research and analysis, drafting and production of any client marketing materials and pitch books.
Support senior banker in follow-up on identified cross sell opportunities with clients, including leading the coordination of Credit, Product and stakeholders in the Global Network.
Serve as main point of contact with Risk Department, leading the coordination of all relevant risk presentations.
Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.
Support product partners and monitor entire execution process for transactions ensuring timely execution to meet client expectations.
Perform client research directed at uncovering opportunities to market bank products, strategic formulation of industry views/ideas, industry peer/comp research, trends and transformational events.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Business or equivalent field.

Work Experience:
Corporate banking experience in the Financial Services Industry, 1-3 years

Skills and Abilities:
Understanding of corporate finance and banking products.
Demonstrated knowledge of credit.
Solid financial modeling skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
Team player and self starter.
