The Sophomore Career Exploration Internship gives undergraduate sophomores the opportunity to gain valuable work experience at a unique institution. Through dynamic, project-based work assignments and professional development activities, students get:Ā

HowĀ YouāllĀ Make an Impact as a Technology Intern (Sophomore)Ā
Candidates willĀ be responsible forĀ technology work in any of our IT areas, including but not limited to information security, data management, software development, business operations, or end user services.Ā Ā
Responsibilities may include coding software, testing code, preparing and managing data, and/or running competitive analyses and research for our technology teams.Ā Ā
AdditionalĀ responsibilities may include analyzing current andĀ new technologyĀ architecture designs or implementing and deploying applications across multiple environments.Ā

The Unique Skill SetsĀ WeāreĀ Looking For:Ā
As a sophomore intern in the Technology Track, you have a demonstrated interest in computer science, information systems, applicationĀ developmentĀ or business technology. Specific technical skills may be required depending on area and project.Ā Ā
Other general requirements include:Ā Ā
Working knowledge of MS Office SuiteĀ Ā
Strong analytical and critical thinking skillsĀ demonstratedĀ by the ability to assimilateĀ new information, and manage multiple tasksĀ Ā
Basic programming skills in one or more areas: Java, JavaScript, SQL, Scala, Python, HTM/CSSĀ Ā
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and writtenĀ Ā
Ability to grasp information quicklyĀ Ā
Attention to detailĀ Ā
Ability to work productively in a high-performance team atmosphere and as an independent analystĀ

Salary Range:Ā Your regular wages for the 10 weeks will be paid on a semi-monthly basis and will be calculated based on an annual salary ofĀ $65,600Ā

This position requires access to confidential supervisory information (CSI) and/or Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) information. Access to CSI and FOMC information is limited to U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, individuals who meet the definition of āprotected individualā under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3), and certain other nonimmigrants.
