Position Summary 

Elevate is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manager, Accounting to support our financial accounting and reporting functions during a period of rapid growth. This individual will play a key role in the monthly close process, financial reporting, and strengthening internal controls.

Key Responsibilities 

Financial Close & Reporting

  • Support and manage aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
  • Review journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Assist with complex accounting areas including debt accounting, acquisition accounting, derivative accounting and cost allocations
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies
  • Assist in preparation of consolidated financial statements

Audit & Compliance

  • Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors during interim and year-end audits
  • Support quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements
  • Assist with tax compliance and related reporting obligations

Treasury Management

  • Assisting with design of new treasury processes, including documentation and roll out 
  • Manage and support treasury processes, including bank account set up, account maintenance, reporting
  • Assisting with near-term treasury forecasting and cash management

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Support implementation and optimization of ERP systems and accounting software
  • Identify opportunities to enhance accounting controls, documentation, and workflows
  • Help build scalable processes to support company growth

Team Collaboration

  • Provide oversight and coordination with outsourced accounting support
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior accounting staff
  • Partner cross-functionally with Development, EPC, and Finance teams
  • As part of dynamic and growing team, this position will be expected to assist in other areas of the financial reporting and close process and other ad hoc projects, as necessary

Candidate Profile 

Required Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 5+ years of accounting experience - public accounting and/or industry experience strongly preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience with ERP systems 
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred 

  • CPA strongly preferred, or active progress toward certification
  • Acumatica experience a plus, but not required

Compensation: The base compensation range for this role is $90,000 to $140,000 per year, which represents the Company’s good-faith estimate of the salary range for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on the skills, experience, and qualifications of the candidate selected.

Employees in this role are also eligible to participate in the Company’s annual discretionary bonus program, subject to the terms of the applicable plan.
