About the role

Atmosphere TV is seeking a sharp, organized, and versatile Ad Sales Marketing Manager to join our Ad Sales Marketing team. This role sits at the intersection of creative production and project execution – developing and managing sales collateral, pitch assets, sponsorship packages, and pre- and post-campaign elements, for both National and Local/Regional Sales partners. If you're a fast learner who thrives in a high-output environment and wants front-row exposure to how Connected TV and Digital Out Of Home advertising gets sold, this is the right seat.

This position is a hybrid in-office/remote role based in Chicago and will report to the VP, Ad Sales Marketing

What you'll do

Narrative Development & Client Storytelling

  • Serve as a strategic advisor on narrative development – connecting Atmosphere's positioning, products, and capabilities to client objectives across verticals and categories
  • Propose storytelling strategies that clearly and compellingly communicate Atmosphere's value proposition, including specific products and platform capabilities
  • Translate complex platform data, audience insights, and campaign performance into persuasive, client-ready presentations

RFP Responses & Proactive Pitches

  • Lead end-to-end RFP responses – synthesizing sales input, developing the strategic narrative, and producing polished, differentiated decks under deadline
  • Drive proactive pitch development for high-priority prospects and categories, from initial concept through final deliverable
  • Bring pitch ideas to the table without being asked – staying ahead of the sales calendar, cultural moments, and category trends

Sales Collateral & Sponsorship Packages

  • Create and maintain sales collateral spanning GTM, Audiences, Categories, Venues, and Case Studies – ensuring the library stays current, accurate, and representative of Atmosphere's best work
  • Lead end-to-end creation of new and updated sponsorship packages and ad products, in support of both national and local/regional partners
  • Own and evolve core sales enablement content: category one-sheeters, platform explainers, audience narrative frameworks, and vertical-specific pitch modules

Sellable Product Development & Ideation

  • Originate and develop new sellable concepts – identifying opportunities to package Atmosphere's platform capabilities into pitchable, scalable products for sales
  • Collaborate with sales to understand buyer needs and translate them into creative marketing concepts that open doors and drive revenue

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a liaison between Sales, Content, Creative, and Engineering teams across pre-sale ideation and post-sale execution
  • Identify and evaluate potential partners that can expand Atmosphere's revenue-driving capabilities

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years in a marketing and/or sales role within streaming TV advertising, Digital Out of Home (DOOH), retail ad networks, or a similar environment – agency or media company experience preferred
  • Highly proficient writer with the ability to produce professional-quality presentations and sales collateral; strong PowerPoint/Keynote skills are important
  • Familiarity with the media landscape, particularly the media buying process (planning, pacing, post-buy)
  • Demonstrated interest in working with data, particularly in a storytelling capacity
  • Strong analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills; able to collaborate effectively across a team
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Comfortable adapting to a fast-paced environment and eager to learn new tools and methodologies
  • Passionate about streaming, media, and advertising – and genuinely curious about where the industry is going
  • High ownership mentality: you hold yourself accountable, don't wait to be told what to do, and bring solutions rather than problems
  • Team-first orientation – collaborative, low-ego, and motivated by the collective win

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary range $100,000 - $110,000 + Commission*
  • Company Equity
  • Company 401(k) with employer matching
  • Competitive insurance plans
  • Flexible Time Off Policy

*Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skills, experience, and qualification for the role.

Our Commitment to Diversity:

Don’t meet every single requirement? Research shows that women and underrepresented groups often hesitate to apply unless they meet all the criteria. At Atmosphere, we’re committed to building a diverse, inclusive team where creativity, innovation, and teamwork thrive. If you're excited about this role but your experience doesn’t perfectly align with every qualification, we still encourage you to apply—you might be the right fit for this or another role.
