Performs assessments, screening, and crisis intervention with patients as required. Evaluates test results, psych evaluations and other reports/interviews to determine if candidate is appropriate for treatment at Phoenix House. Maintains accurate and timely documentation in accordance with the expectations and standards of Phoenix House policy and procedures and state licensing requirements.   Job Details:  Long Island City Residential - Queens, NY  Full Time-non-exempt  Salary $20.48 - $30.67 QualificationsREQUIRED EDUCATION High School Diploma required Bachelor's degree preferred LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS CASAC OR CASAC-T Required.  REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Minimum two years working in substance use treatment admissions Familiarity with regulations governing substance use treatment services   COMPETENCIES (KSAs) Ethical Practices Judgment Relationship Management Emotional Intelligence Empathy Professional Boundaries Interview Skills Global and Cultural Awareness Critical Evaluation Problem Solving Decision Making Communication Teamwork Crisis Management Technical Capacity WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in an indoor office environment.
