ADVISOR ENGAGEMENT & EVENTS MANAGER

 
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

This position is responsible for identifying, developing and delivering marketing programs that deepen engagement with independent financial advisors and clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant team dedicated to creating sales-driven events and impactful marketing strategies.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

 

  • Support in the development of strategic marketing programs to deepen / grow financial advisor relationships and AUM.
  • Identify key segments and needs to tailor programs based on distinct personas.
  • Manage strategic marketing projects and events end-to-end, working cross-functionally with strategy, marketing, sales, portfolio managers, and external advisors to share concepts, collect and incorporate feedback that maximizes successful implementation of strategic ideas.
  • Manage planning, organizing, and executing successful marketing events that align with the firm’s strategic goals
  • Work cross-functionally to create customized presentations for specific meetings and events within RBC Rochdale 
  • Design and create a wide variety of customized, professional-quality marketing materials for specific events
  • Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, video, email marketing, advertising, etc.)
  • Determine, track, and report key KPIs for each specific program developed.
  • Conduct market research and to identify new opportunities and trends.
  • Work with compliance team to finalize and ensure marketing materials, proposals, and communications meet all regulatory requirements.
  • Other marketing-related duties as needed.

 

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Required Qualifications*

 

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years marketing strategy or event marketing in financial services, preferably within investment management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel)
 
Additional Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4-6 years marketing or event marketing in financial services, preferably within investment management.
  • Proven experience in marketing, event planning, or a related role.
  • Understanding of economics, financial and investment concepts and terms; can apply them thoughtfully to marketing strategies
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and other CRM systems.
  • Proficiency in Marketing Automation Software (e.g. Pardot)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, can network and build key relationships
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task multiple time sensitive projects

Compensation
Starting base salary: $87,027 - $138,965 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
