DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:

The Partnership Sales team at Fenway Sports Management (FSM) serves as a fully integrated sales organization for Fenway Sports Group. The team is responsible for driving significant revenue, working with FSG’s owned and operated properties as well as strategic partners across the portfolio. We accomplish our goals by cultivating relationships with world-class brands and providing customized solutions to tell powerful stories through the iconic properties that we work with.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This role will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by identifying and evaluating potential partnership opportunities and will require a strategic thinker with a holistic and analytical approach to market and industry analysis. This role will be instrumental in uncovering new sales prospects by providing data-driven analysis of relevant categories and companies, ensuring that FSM remains competitive and well-informed in the sales process. The Analyst will be essential for enabling the team to stay ahead of industry trends and leverage market intelligence to gain a competitive edge and have a core focus on Global Partnerships properties.

The base salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000 based on relevant experience. Additionally, this position qualifies for annual incentive pay along with our comprehensive benefits package.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serve as power user of internal and third-party intelligence technologies to uncover actionable, insight-led new partnership opportunities.
  • Conduct quantitative market analysis to evaluate emerging trends, category insights, and brand investment patterns impacting the sponsorship landscape.
  • Develop data-driven prospecting materials grounded in audience insights and business intelligence to equip the sales team in outreach.
  • Proactively stay informed on notable marketing, business, and contact developments across blue-chip brands by leveraging technology and strategic awareness.
  • Support Partnership Sales, by prioritizing research initiatives based on their direction to ensure intelligence efforts directly support priority objectives.
  • Execute projects as directed by Sales Leadership.
  • Continuously expand market intelligence knowledge through industry research and insights to strengthen overall sales effort.


CHARACTERISTICS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in market research, insights, or a related field; experience in sports partnerships preferred.
  • Skilled in data analysis, market trend assessment, industry research, and prospect evaluation.
  • Curious, passionate, and proactive about staying informed on the latest industry trends and emerging partnership opportunities.
  • Team player with a positive attitude, resilience, and ability to foster a positive, inclusive team atmosphere.
  • Self-starter who takes ownership, demonstrates accountability, and consistently meets deadlines with ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
  • Experience with artificial intelligence tools preferred.
  • Experience with prospecting intelligence tools preferred (ie. Pitchbook, Zoominfo, Winmo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SponsorUnited, GlobalData).
  • Strong MS Office skills with ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, preferably Salesforce.
