Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

A respected healthcare organization in Brooklyn is seeking an experienced nursing professional to step into an Assistant Director of Nursing role. This position plays a key part in supporting clinical operations, strengthening staff performance, and maintaining high standards of patient care within a dynamic care setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing daily nursing operations to ensure quality and compliance standards are met
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to nursing staff
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care outcomes
  • Participate in staff evaluations, coaching, and professional development efforts

Required Qualifications

  • Possession of an active New York State RN license
  • Master’s degree in Nursing with a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including 3 years in a supervisory or teaching capacity, or
    Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with 6 years of experience, including 4 years in a supervisory or teaching capacity
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively guide and support a diverse clinical team
