Description
The Assistant Planner, Sales Planning – Haircare supports the Senior Manager and owns end-to-end planning for Tier 2 wholesale accounts, including forecasting, inventory planning, execution, and broader planning initiatives.
This role maintains Stock & Sales Plans, manages order and PO workflows, provides insights, and partners cross-functionally to support in-stock levels and operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Wholesale Account Planning (Tier 2 Ownership)
•   Own sales and inventory planning for Tier 2 wholesale accounts, including forecasting, replenishment, and in-season management
•   Build and maintain Stock & Sales Plans, incorporating distribution changes, promotions, and launches
•   Monitor account performance, identify risks and opportunities, and adjust forecasts
•   Partner with Sales and Account Management on sales expectations and shipment plans

Stock & Sales Plan Support (Tier 1 Support)
•   Support the Senior Manager in maintaining Stock & Sales Plans for Tier 1 accounts
•   Assist in seasonal planning materials, including recaps, analysis, and programming calendars
•   Maintain shared planning tools, trackers, and calendars for alignment and accuracy

Forecasting, Replenishment & Inventory Management
•   Manage replenishment and inventory flow for Tier 2 accounts, including forecast exceptions and WOS metrics
•   Analyze data to identify OOS risks, imbalances, and reorder opportunities
•   Track SKU lifecycle changes and ensure accurate system updates
•   Submit and manage DIF and RTV requests
•   Support inventory clean-up and resolve discrepancies

Shipment, Order & PO Management
•   Own PO tracking for assigned accounts, ensuring forecast and inventory alignment
•   Monitor order status, receipts, cancellations, and changes; flag risks and follow up with partners
•   Maintain accurate order logs and shipment trackers
•   Support SKU- and door-level analysis for reorder, event, and opening order recommendations

Launch Management
•   Own planning support for launches across Tier 2 accounts, including setup, forecasting, and tracking
•   Prepare launch documentation, including distribution lists, door-level plans, and setup files
•   Track and analyze launch performance, providing insights and recommendations
Â
Assortment & Administrative Support
•   Maintain assortment tools, SKU trackers, and pricing updates
•   Support system and retailer template updates for SKU changes, discontinuations, and RTVs
•   Prepare materials for retailer meetings and internal reviews
Â
Reporting & Analytics
•   Maintain reporting on sales, inventory, WOS, service levels, returns, and PO tracking
•   Build standardized reports and dashboards for the Senior Manager and planning team
•   Provide insights on trends, risks, and opportunities to support decision-making

Cross-Functional & Retailer Support
•   Partner with Sales, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, and Customer Service on forecasts, inventory, and execution
•   Support communication to retailers and field teams on OOS updates, in-stock timing, and assortment changes
•   Assist in developing tools and materials for internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1–2 years of experience in planning, allocation, supply chain, operations, finance, merchandising, or related field; internships accepted

Skills
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills; able to manage large datasets
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data manipulation
• Experience with SAP, Databricks, Power BI, order management, returns, or inventory systems a plus
• Detail-oriented with strong organization and time management skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Self-starter with proactive problem-solving approach
• Familiarity with WOS, turns, and service levels a plus
