Job Summary:

The Assistant Property Manager supports the Property Manager in overseeing daily operations of residential and commercial properties, ensuring maintenance, tenant relations, and compliance are efficiently handled in accordance with company policies and local laws.

Job Descriptions:

路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Support the Property Manager in overseeing, maintaining, and inspecting all assigned buildings and properties.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Coordinate routine maintenance and property inspections to ensure compliance with laws, codes, and company policies.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Assist in preparing and managing budgets related to property operations and maintenance.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Respond to and address tenant complaints, violations, and problems in a timely and professional manner.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Inspect vacated units, document conditions, and assist in preparing them for re-rental.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Help establish and maintain strong relationships with tenants through effective communication and service.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Assist in contracting, scheduling, and supervising repairs and maintenance work with vendors and contractors.

路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Keep track of lease expiration dates and contact tenants at least 3 months prior to initiate renewals.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Maintain accurate and organized records, correspondence, and files for all properties.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Oversee and document tenant move-in and move-out processes, including photos and signed forms.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Assist in terminating leases and initiating eviction proceedings for tenants who violate lease terms or legal requirements.
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Help register and renew properties with HPD, DHCR, and Section 8, as required.
