Job Description
A leading Children’s apparel Company is seeking associate designers for our Infant, Toddler and Big Girl Departments. Great opportunity in growing divisions within a stable company. Competitive salary and benefits.
- Assist the senior designer with sketching of product line
- Responsible for maintaining tech packs for sample making and production
- Create and update line sheets
- Communicate and relay information to Product development, Tech and sourcing departments Â
- Approvals of all submits from factories (ex – fabrics, trim, colors)Â
- Knowledge of garment construction
- Must have knowledge of illustrator program
- Team player
- Must be organized, dependable, flexible and responsible
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environmentÂ
- Must be able to maintain a schedule and meet deadlines
Qualifications
- Proficient in Adobe IllustratorÂ
- Experience in PLM
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Children's Wear
