Job Description:

We’reĀ looking for an Associate Director, Social Marketing & Strategy to lead social strategy across key clients, with a strong focus on campaign-driven work within Integrated Agency Teams (IATs). This roleĀ is responsible forĀ translating brand and paid campaigns into effective, culturally relevant, social-first ideas and executions—not just always-on content.Ā 

You’llĀ play a key role in making integrated campaigns work on social, acting as a confident and credible voice in cross-functional settings. This includes pushing recommendations, engaging in thoughtful debate, and influencing decisions—whileĀ maintainingĀ strong relationships and reading the room.Ā 

Role ResponsibilitiesĀ 

  • Lead the social workstream within IATs, ensuring integrated campaigns translate into strong social executionsĀ 

  • Develop andĀ optimizeĀ social strategies aligned to campaignĀ objectivesĀ and KPIsĀ 

  • Partner closely with other IATs, as well as internalĀ Account, Creative, Paid Media, and Influencer teams to deliver cohesive workĀ 

  • Advocate for social best practices and push work forward with confidence and clarityĀ 

  • Act as an authoritative voice in meetings, comfortable operating ā€œtoe-to-toeā€ with stakeholdersĀ 

  • Balance conviction withĀ diplomacy, and able to challenge thinking without being overly bullishĀ 

  • Apply strong strategic thinking grounded in human behavior, culture, and platform dynamicsĀ 

  • Ensure your POV is heard while building trust and strong cross-functional partnershipsĀ 

  • Brief creators and guide content development to deliver high-quality, insight-driven workĀ 

  • Use performance data and social analytics to inform optimization and creative directionĀ 

  • Communicate clearly and confidently with senior stakeholders, adapting style to the roomĀ 

  • Foster collaboration across teams with a people-first mindsetĀ 

  • Navigate competing priorities, personalities, and evolving demands effectivelyĀ 

  • Manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment with frequent status updatesĀ 

  • Stay adaptable and resilient as priorities shift and new challengesĀ emergeĀ 

  • Manage and mentor Social Strategists and Managers, elevating teamĀ outputĀ and growthĀ

The annual salary range for this position is $94,875-$138,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factorsĀ permittedĀ by law.Ā Ā
