About the Role

As the Associate Sourcing Manager, you will execute strategic sourcing goals to address B2B business needs for all product categories, including researching, identifying and developing production sourcing markets and suppliers. You will be responsible for working with multiple departments and communicating important Sourcing updates to the B2B leadership & sales team

Responsibilities

Strategy

路 Execute against defined sourcing strategy to ensure product development meets criteria of cost competitiveness, supplier capabilities, sustainability, quality, country and vendor risk

路 Manage custom developments for brand standards adhering to client specific product and quality standards and requirements.

路 Manage large strategic B2B projects - work cross-functionally to prepare the bid/project RFPs, create project plan, address any specific unique project needs

路 Represent B2B needs within global sourcing strategy

Product Management

路 Represent B2B to WSGO partners and collaborate on management of product

路 Focus efforts on management of brand standards, large scale projects & bid inquiries

路 Manage calendar & timelines to achieve project install dates

路 Troubleshoot product issues related to development, production and/or delivery

路 Manage sourcing processes and procedures to successfully execute and deliver WSI products on time, which meet the design, quality and value mission.

路 Monitor vendor performance & provide feedback to suppliers on their performance

路 Collaborate with our Williams Sonoma Global Operations (WSGO) partners

路 Update and maintain accurate product information via our Product Life Cycle Management system where utilized

Criteria

路 4+ years college education (BA/BS).

路 Minimum 3-4 years experience in international sourcing within the retail or manufacturing industry.

路 1-2 years experience in a specific category sourcing is a plus (casegoods, upholstery, or lighting), but not required

路 This role requires being onsite in the New York office

The expected starting pay range for this position is $68,000- $81,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
