Overview
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING (NON-UNION)
EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
Full Time / 4 days per week / 8pm – 6am / Some Weekends
Responsibilities
Responsible for the clinical and operational management of the Nursing Emergency Department, ensuring that standards of practice for nursing and patient care are maintained; participates in developing departmental plans and programs as required; collects and provides data on unit activities, PI issues, etc. as required.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- 3-5 years ED experience
- Team oriented
- Skills validation assessments, competency assessments, and orientation overview
- Excellent Communication and organizational skills - can work independently
- 2 years of leadership experience (Charge Nurse or Team Leader)
- BSN/MSN

Preferred:
- CEN/CPEN
- Current competency in Adult and Pediatric emergency care including triage, resuscitation, and CDU
Pay Range
USD $136,708.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
