Responsibilities
- Proactively identify data partners for frontier model training
- Work closely with product, research, and engineering teams to understand technical data requirements and identify key opportunities
- Leverage and expand a broad network of contacts in the global data space to unlock partnerships opportunities
- Conduct market research and analysis to understand the data landscape, identifying emerging trends and partnerships opportunities in the AI ecosystem
- Working cross-functionally with legal, marketing, finance, product, and engineering teams to negotiate agreements, drive special projects, advocate internally for partners, and educate on industry trends
- Providing regular reports and updates on partnership activity and performance
Minimum Qualifications
- Relevant experience in business development, strategy or related fields
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to orchestrate and complete deals, including experience interpreting legal documents and working with attorneys to complete agreements
- Experience working closely with product and engineering teams
- Experience developing working relationships inside and outside an immediate team or partner organization
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced technical degree such as MSCS and MSEE
- Experience with AI products and technologies such as AI models, use-cases, and systems
- Experience in content and data acquisition deals
- Experience analyzing data and deriving actionable business insights
- Experience presenting to, communicating, and influencing at all levels of an organization
- Experience developing and driving business strategies and initiatives with executive stakeholders
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Technology or related field
- Knowledge of the AI ecosystem and competitive landscape including the technology, what large and small companies are doing, industry alliances, and broader government and regulatory positions
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to orchestrate and complete deals, including experience interpreting legal documents and working with attorneys to complete agreements
$162,000/year to $227,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
