The Chief Construction Inspector (CCI) is a first-line supervisory position within Public Improvement Construction responsible for supervising and overseeing Inspectors and Construction Representatives assigned to public improvement projects. The CCI serves as the primary field interface with company organizations, municipal agency representatives, and contractors; supports constructability reviews and project turnover; reviews project scope, field conditions, documentation, invoices, and payment support; monitors safety, training, schedules, expenditures, accruals, appropriations, and RAP funding; and ensures that work affecting company facilities is properly documented, supported, protected, and constructed in accordance with applicable layouts, specifications, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This position requires field leadership, sound judgment, timely communication, and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities across internal and external stakeholders.

This position does not provide employment pursuant to the terms of a STEM OPT Training Plan.
