Job Description:
This job is responsible for defining the engineering approach within an end-to-end technology stack. This job will align to a technical domain but acts as contributor to multiple cross functional teams. Key responsibilities include engaging in development and production environments to identify and improve performance/capacity issues and creating and ensuring system design technology solutions comply with enterprise standards. Job expectations include providing and contributing to improvements in solution design, testing, and delivery practices.

Exciting opportunity to join our RTC Operational Excellence team where we drive improvements, reduce operational risks, and seek to find faster, simpler, and more efficient ways to strengthen our Voice & Video infrastructure while adhering to Banks standards and practices. We are looking for candidates with business intelligence, excellent critical thinking and communication skills, and a process improvement mind-set. Candidate should also have a technical background in voice, video, and network infrastructure. The candidate will develop working relationships with operations, project, and technology teams along with process owners while building trust and confidence at all levels. The ideal candidate will be a strong contributor and a self-starter who can analyze data and drive to logical outcomes while constantly challenging the status quo.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence strategic initiatives focused on driving a culture of continuous improvements.

  • Responsible for overseeing technical, process, and service deliverables in alignment with various risk management programs.

  • Accountable for inventory service management processes and improvements.

  • Create methodology to drive adoption and ongoing use of a new service offering.

  • Design service management improvement plans and execute tasks to improve services and minimize issues.

  • Engagement of other teams to identify and document dependencies; takes ownership of relationship and escalation as required to meet objectives.

  • Enable the use of data to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Participates in solution-driven discussions, such as various Communities of Practice (COPs), contributes to the design of large or highly complex architectural designs, and finds creative solutions through their knowledge of the domain and operational constraints

  • Produces detailed designs of infrastructure and application architecture components

  • Ensures that execution aligns with product strategy by working with product management, product owners, and other stakeholders, contributing to the technology strategy for their technical domain

  • Collaborates with Development and Infrastructure teams to understand technical solutions and provide the performance capabilities required in the application across the technology stack put forward by Solution Engineer Lead

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical, data analysis, and problem-solving skills; able to handle complex information with accuracy and intense attention to detail.

  • Self-motivated with ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.

  • Experience with business and technical requirements analysis and business workflow development.

  • Ability to partner with department functional teams on the creation and management of SLAs specific to platform serviceability.

  • Assist in creating appropriate measurement, reporting, and monitoring metrics that provide guidance for process improvement and/or training opportunities for internal team.

  • Skilled in building strong relationships and communicating effectively with stakeholders and leaders at all organizational levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining composure and effectiveness under pressure.

  • Interprets diverse requirements into technical Real Time Communications (RTC) solutions framework.

  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and project coordination skills, with a proven ability to oversee multiple work streams concurrently.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, ensuring clear and professional interactions across diverse audiences.

  • Ensure the stability of environment through lifecycle management

  • Strong knowledge of the BMC Remedy ITSM, Service Now, and Jira

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
