Job Summary:

This Comms Coordinator / Warehouse Driver is responsible for working with the Comms Manager to maintain the Comms inventory (two-way radios, WiFi devices, etc) on a daily basis. They will also assist with processing rentals with the administrative team and clients, as well as expedite equipment as needed with the warehouse staff team. They are responsible for executing deliveries and pickups of equipment to and from clients’ location as needed.

What You’ll Do:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, prep, and test communications equipment (walkies, WiFi devices, accessories, and sound equipment) before and after rentals.

  • Program walkie frequencies based on client specifications (training provided).

  • Pull, stage, and organize equipment for orders, identifying and communicating any shortages.

  • Inspect, test, and verify all equipment functionality upon return and prior to rental.

  • Partner with clients during equipment check-out and check-in processes, ensuring all required documentation is completed and signed.

  • Maintain accurate inventory through regular stock checks and communication of order updates or changes to management.

  • Assist administrative staff and operations managers with incoming bookings via email and phone.

  • Schedule and coordinate delivery and pick-up of production supplies and communications equipment to and from client locations.

  • Support account setup in Rental Works and maintain accurate documentation, including MRAs, deal memos, certificates of insurance, and CC authorizations.

  • Execute timely and accurate delivery and pick-up of equipment, supplies, and materials to client locations.

  • Follow delivery routes and schedules to ensure on-time service.

  • Operate lift gates and safely load, unload, and secure equipment using proper handling techniques.

  • Perform minor equipment repairs as needed and escalate issues requiring additional service.

  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and thoroughly.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces and company vehicles.

  • Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with all state and DOT regulations; promptly report any vehicle issues.

  • Perform all duties in a safe, efficient, and timely manner in alignment with company policies.

  • Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

What You’ll Need:

  • Prior experience operating material handling equipment.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with management, clients, and team members.

  • Availability to work standard business hours, with flexibility for overtime as needed.

  • Valid driver's license and excellent driving record.

  • Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to learn and navigate rental or inventory management software.

  • High school diploma or equivalent education and related experience.

  • Ability to perform all duties in a safe manner and in alignment with Company policies and procedures.

  • Prior experience working with communications equipment (e.g., radios, walkies, or similar devices) is preferred.

  • Heavy work: requires ability to continually lift, push, and pull 50 pounds of product individually and occasionally more than 100 pounds up to 160 pounds of product in a team lift.

Working Conditions:

Work activities will regularly include working outside, in inclement weather, with exposure to extreme temperatures, areas of poor visibility, wet and/or humid conditions.. Noise level in work environment can be loud and cause sound vibrations. Dust, mechanical hazards, moving objects, hazardous chemicals and operating vehicles will also be present in work environment.
