About Manifest

Manifest OS is an AI-native company on a mission to replace the billable hour and make legal services more accessible for American businesses and consumers. We power the next generation of AI-native law firms with one unified global brand, a proprietary technology platform, and a centralized back office — enabling lawyers to eliminate the administrative burden and focus on delivering exceptional outcomes for their clients. Manifest OS has raised a $60M Series A from Menlo Ventures, Kleiner Perkins, First Round, and Quiet Capital.

About the Team

The Strategy & Operations team owns the most consequential problems that don't belong anywhere else — from designing operating systems for new practice areas to the analyses that reshape how leadership thinks about the business. We're a small, high-leverage team that works directly with the C-suite and owns initiatives from conception to handoff.

Part of how Manifest grows is the way great law firms always have: experienced attorneys and their practices joining the platform. Making each of those transitions a success — for the attorney and for their clients — is what this role owns.

About the Role

We're hiring a Corporate Strategy Lead to own the integration of lateral attorneys and acquired practices end to end. When an attorney joins Manifest, two things have to go right: their clients experience a seamless transition onto a better platform, and the attorney gets more out of practicing here than they could anywhere else. Your job is to make both true, every time — and to build the playbook that makes each integration smoother than the last.

This is deliberately one of the widest roles at Manifest. One week you're working with product and ops to bring a practice onto our platform, the next you're building a launch-day marketing push, the next you're hosting a dinner with a new partner and their key clients. You'll operate at the intersection of marketing, sales, product, and legal operations — and you'll own real outcomes, not just coordination.

What You'll Do

  • Own the integration playbook end to end: Define what a great integration looks like, build it as a repeatable system, and run every one against it so nothing falls through the cracks.

  • Launch new partners with impact: Build the go-to-market moment for each attorney who joins — messaging, storytelling, webinars, events — so their arrival lands with clients and the market from day one.

  • Champion the attorney experience: Own the things that make joining Manifest feel like an upgrade — marketing support, profile-building, and a genuine investment in their practice and community.

  • Bring practices onto the platform: Work with product, ops, and legal leadership on the operational transition — case migration, workflows, billing, staffing — with no drop in service for the clients coming over.

  • Own the relationships: Dinners, events, client introductions, and the personal details that make high-touch work — done with the judgment and taste that makes it welcome rather than annoying.

  • Turn each integration into institutional knowledge: Learn from every attorney who joins — their practice, their industry, what worked — and feed it back into a sharper playbook and a stronger platform.

  • Track what matters: Define the milestones of a healthy integration, measure against them, and surface risk early.

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years in strategy & operations, product, consulting, chief-of-staff, or a senior generalist role — the pattern matters more than the title: broad ownership, cross-functional execution, things that got done because you were there

  • Product experience — you've worked closely with product and engineering teams and can translate how a business operates into what a platform needs to do

  • M&A, post-merger integration, or senior-hire onboarding exposure — you've lived through bringing an acquired business or team into a company and know where these things break

  • A track record of owning a number — you can name the goal, the strategy, and the outcome

  • High relationship EQ — senior professionals and their clients are used to being looked after by people who remember the details, and you enjoy the dinners rather than endure them

  • Sharp communicator; you can write the integration memo and host the welcome dinner equally well

  • Based in NYC; willing to work from our Flatiron office five days a week

This is for you if....

You're a generalist by design and range is your superpower — equally credible in a product roadmap discussion and at a client dinner. You're energized by owning an outcome that has no playbook yet, writing the playbook, and then doing the unglamorous work inside it. You understand that in a relationship business, trust is earned slowly and lost quickly.

This is not for you if....

You prefer structure over ambiguity, following playbooks over writing them, or a lane over a landscape. If "product integration in the morning, client dinner at night" sounds exhausting rather than exciting, this isn't the role.
