Overview

As a Data Analyst III, you will play a critical role in supporting and optimizing the Fanatics App product propositions through data-driven insights. You will be responsible for building and maintaining dashboards and leveraging SQL & data engineering best practices to drive strategic decision-making. Your work will enable us to make decisions for our engagement and growth efforts in the App (e.g., free-to-play games, drops) and drive loyalty decisions (e.g., ecosystem bonus segmentation, referrals).

The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, ideally a background in product analytics,Ā  technical expertise in data visualization and SQL, and the ability to think strategically about product engagement and loyalty. They should be comfortable working cross-functionally to translate data into impactful business and product decisions.

ResponsibilitiesĀ 

  • Develop and maintain dashboards to visualize key product and ecosystem program metrics.
  • Use data to drive strategic insights and decision making.
  • Write efficient SQL queries to extract, analyze, and manipulate large datasets.
  • Work closely with data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and ensure clean, reliable data sources.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve customer personalization efforts and maximize engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to define and prioritize the tech roadmap.
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting and streamline data processes for scalability.
  • Communicate insights effectively to stakeholders, including marketing, operations, and executive leadership teams.

Experience and Skills

  • 4 plus years of experience in data analytics, product analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in Sigma or Tableau for dashboard creation and visualization.
  • Advanced SQL skills, with experience handling large datasets.
  • Understanding of data engineering best practices and data pipeline optimization.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate data into business recommendations.
  • Experience working with customer loyalty programs or customer engagement analytics is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Salary range is listed in USD; ranges will change based on country and state of residence, which are reflected in Geographical Zones defined by Fanatics Betting and Gaming. *Salary Range: $135,000 to $160,000 (Salary range incorporates all of our Geographical Compensation Zones and is subject to change as the Zone associated with the actual Offer is confirmed).
