Link’s 10-week paid summer internship program helps students gain valuable experience and develop business skills while learning the basics ofĀ logisticsĀ real estate. We offer internshipsĀ with a variety ofĀ departments including Capital Markets, Corporate Communications, Development, Financial Planning & Analysis, Investments, Leasing, and more.Ā 

Link is looking forĀ actively enrolled juniors (rising seniors) whoĀ areĀ interested inĀ helpingĀ identifyĀ assets for potential financing, constructing loan models, drafting loan marketingĀ materialsĀ and executing new financing transactions.Ā 

WHAT WILL YOU BRING:Ā 

  • Execution of Link’s overall debt strategy.Ā 

  • Origination of a large volume of CMBS, bank balance sheet, and construction loans associated with Link’s acquisitions, dispositions, development, and refinancing activities. A typical year at Link involves billions of dollars of borrowing activities.Ā 

  • Perform financial modeling and analysis to evaluate financing, including cash flow projections and/or cost estimation. Prepare comprehensive loan packages to present to lenders.Ā 

  • AssistĀ with the lender due diligence process on new financings, including collaboration with multiple Link teams and outside counsel to review and gather all required information.Ā 

  • Demonstrate professionalism inĀ learning andĀ completing tasks whileĀ showing eagernessĀ toĀ identifyĀ opportunities toĀ utilizeĀ AI to streamline work streams andĀ optimizeĀ dealĀ execution.Ā Ā Ā Extensive coordination with Blackstone’s Capital Markets and Asset Management teams to ensure debt planning and borrowing activities align withĀ BXĀ strategy.Ā 

  • Help produce Link management/BX debt reporting packages.Ā 

  • Collaborate with Link investments, operations, construction and development teams to draft marketing materials, manage loanĀ covenantsĀ andĀ submitĀ loan draw requests, among other responsibilities.Ā 

QUALIFICATIONS:Ā 

  • Current junior (rising senior) undergraduate student at an accredited four-year institution.Ā 

  • Must currently be actively enrolled for consideration of internship.Ā 

  • Extremely strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills.Ā 

  • Prioritize accountability, ownership of work product, and eagerness to meaningfully contribute to the deal teams.Ā 

  • Learns,Ā retains, andĀ incorporates newĀ concepts quickly in a fast-paced environment.Ā 

  • DetailĀ oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.Ā 

  • Strong analytical mindset with proven interest in commercial real estate finance.Ā 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Ā Ā 

$45/hour represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
