Health Center Inc. (also known as The New York Hotel Trades Council and Hotel Association of NYC, Inc Employee Benefit Funds) is a NYC based healthcare organization with ambulatory care facilities staffed with a wide range of health professionals to provide extensive medical and diagnostic services. We offer Primary Care, Dental, Radiological, Vision, Mental Health, and other Specialist services within our facilities at no charge to our Union members, removing the financial roadblock that many people face when trying to obtain quality medical care. We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to help in our mission of providing top notch dental services to our Union members. It's an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to make an impact for under-represented communities and a stable work schedule (No weekends and no overnights!) Please note we are recruiting for our QueensĀ Location.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Perform patient oral inspection and complete dental charting.
  • Perform appropriate dental procedure on patient.
  • Educate patient on methods to control oral disease.
  • Reassures patients as needed.
  • Compile information for the dentist or specialist for patient diagnosis and treatment plan.
  • Participates in the quality assurance/risk management committee meetings, as requested.Ā 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.Ā 
Education and experience:
  • Associate’ degree.
  • New York state license in dental hygiene
  • Current BCLS certification.
  • Prior experience in a dental office or in a health care setting.
