About the Role

This is an early-stage healthtech company building an AI-powered financial operating system for health systems, and this role sits at the heart of delivering that product to clients. As a Deployment Strategist, you'll own key workstreams within large-scale AI implementations, working shoulder-to-shoulder with hospital CFOs and finance leaders to drive measurable margin improvements.

What You'll Do

Own specific delivery workstreams within large health system deployments, working alongside a Senior Deployment Strategist.
Lead discovery, solutioning, and hands-on problem-solving for novel AI products where customers are still defining their use cases.
Manage working-level relationships with clinical leads, IT project managers, and department heads at health system clients.
Move fluidly between client-facing work (stakeholder prep, presentations) and technical contribution (AI agent configuration, light coding).
Drive operational change and performance improvement across dedicated accounts spanning 12–18 month engagements.

What We're Looking For

2+ years of experience at a healthcare consulting firm or a health-tech company selling to health systems.
Demonstrated passion for healthcare provider organizations — a clear career pattern of healthcare focus.
Direct client-facing experience delivering solutions to health systems, hospitals, or medical groups.
Domain knowledge in healthcare financial operations (e.g., hospital finance, revenue cycle, margin improvement) to align AI deployment with CFO and finance leadership objectives.
Experience contributing technically in implementations — AI agent configuration, data work, or code — not purely strategy or advisory.
Technical literacy with AI/data tools; coding experience in Python, SQL, or similar languages is a strong plus.
Willingness to travel to client sites for deployments and stakeholder engagements as needed.
Healthcare-related education (e.g., MPH, MHA, health policy, or healthcare management) is a plus but not required.
Must be based in or willing to relocate to New York City; 4 days/week in-office required.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $150,000 – $185,000 USD annually. No visa sponsorship is available for this role.
