Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Designer to support the development and execution of seasonal collections for Girls (Ages 4–10). This role requires strong design skills, trend awareness, and the ability to translate concepts into commercially successful products while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams from concept through production.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support the design process from concept through production for Girls (Ages 4–10) collections.
  • Design age-appropriate apparel collections, including silhouettes, color palettes, and key design details, while partnering closely with the Graphic Team to develop seasonal prints, patterns, and graphic artwork that align with the overall collection vision and brand aesthetic.
  • Research fashion, color, consumer, and market trends and translate insights into commercially successful product opportunities.
  • Create sketches, CADs, and technical packages to support product development and ensure accurate execution from concept through production.
  • Partner closely with Merchandising, Product Development, Technical Design, and Production teams to ensure design intent, fit, quality, and cost objectives are achieved.
  • Review samples, strike-offs, lab dips, and artwork, providing timely feedback throughout development.
  • Participate in fittings and assist with product refinements throughout the development cycle.
  • Manage multiple projects and seasonal deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Utilize PLM systems (Be Product or similar), Browzwear, and collaboration tools such as Miro throughout the product development process.

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistent delivery of commercially successful, brand-right designs for the Girls 4–10 customer.
  • Strong execution across seasonal calendars and development milestones.
  • Effective collaboration across Design, Graphic, Merchandising, Product Development, Technical Design, and Production teams.
  • High attention to detail with accurate design documentation and handoffs.
  • Ability to balance creativity, quality, cost, and speed-to-market.
  • Positive contribution to a collaborative and innovative design culture.
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
  • 2–5 years of apparel design experience, preferably within girls' apparel or children's wear.
  • Strong understanding of fit, construction, fabrication, and production processes for children's apparel.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; CAD skills required.
  • Experience with Browzwear VStitcher or a similar 3D apparel design platform.
  • Experience with a PLM system such as Be Product.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.

Preferred Skills & Technical Expertise

  • Ability to create and review digital garments, colorways, and presentation-ready visualizations.
  • Familiarity with 3D apparel workflows and digital product creation processes.
  • Experience with Miro.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered design and productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, or Adobe Firefly.
