Director/Senior Director Investments

We're building our investment team at RRA Capital and are looking for someone ready to step into a true deal seat — working directly with our CIO to evaluate, structure, and execute multifamily real estate credit investments, and help shape how we invest.

YOU WILL BE:

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO:

• Quickly and thoroughly underwrite quantitative and qualitative aspects of multifamily investment opportunities in order to increase RRA’s origination of high-quality investments.
• Build and pressure-test underwriting models and deal assumptions
• Build relationships with investment professionals (e.g. investment sales brokers, sponsors, property managers) to aid in underwriting investment opportunities
• Structure loans (pricing, leverage, covenants) with a focus on downside protection
• Partner directly with the CIO to assess risk and drive investment decisions
• Work across the lifecycle—from initial screening through closing
  
  

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:

• Has 8-15 years of experience, preferably in multifamily real estate
• Has underwritten and closed deals independently — not just supported the process
• Is a self-starter who is passionate about investing
• Understands both real estate fundamentals and credit risk
• Is ready to take a step up in responsibility, not just make a lateral move
• Is based in Phoenix, AZ — exceptional candidates in other markets are encouraged to apply and will be considered on a case-by-case basis

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Base salary commensurate with experience, discretionary performance bonus, and participation in firm economics for the right candidate. Benefits include medical insurance, 401(k) with employer match, and unlimited PTO.
